Where the vines climb with purpose, the ovens hum with promise,
and every harvest brings our community a little closer together.

Our Prairie Story

Rooted in Newton, Kansas, Autumn Prairie Pumpkins grew from a family dream — to raise good food, share what we learn, and bring people together around the beauty of fall. We believe the prairie teaches patience, and that every season has its blessings if you look closely enough.

We grow pumpkins, bake pies, and save seeds with care. More than a farm, this is a community — one built on open gates, helping hands, and warm smiles on market mornings.

What We Grow & Share

Autumn Frost

A small, frosted beauty with deep orange flesh and caramel-sweet flavor. Perfect for roasting, soups, and pies that taste like Kansas in October.

Long Island Cheese

An heirloom wheel-shaped favorite with smooth texture and mild sweetness. The go-to for velvety pumpkin butter and custard pies.

Dickinson

The classic canning pumpkin with balanced flavor and silky texture. We grow it slow and sun-drenched — the old-fashioned way.

Seminole & South Anna Butternut

Heat-loving, borer-resistant keepers that thrive in our arches. Their golden fruits store all winter long, offering comfort when the fields are bare.

Each vine tells a story — rooted in family, patience, and Kansas soil.

From Our Kitchen

Baked with the pumpkins we grow and shared with the people we love.

Our small kitchen hums with the scent of roasted pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. From golden loaves and cookies to creamy pie fillings, every batch carries the same care we bring to the soil. You can find our baked goods at the Newton Farmers Market and during special holiday pre-orders.

Market Life

We’re proud to be part of the Newton Farmers Market — where the air smells of coffee and cinnamon, and friends meet under the canopy. Our booth is a small slice of autumn: pumpkins lined in rows, fresh pies cooling, and neighbors swapping recipes between laughs.
