The Seminole Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) is a legendary Southern heirloom originally cultivated by the Seminole people of Florida. Renowned for its extraordinary heat tolerance, disease resistance, and productivity, this variety thrives where other pumpkins struggle.

Vines are vigorous and sprawling, often climbing fences and trees in true tropical fashion. Fruits are small to medium (3–8 lbs) with sweet, deep-orange flesh that's excellent for pies, roasting, and soups. Perhaps its greatest strength is storage: Seminole Pumpkins can last 6–12 months without refrigeration.

Days to maturity: 90–100 days
Plant spacing: 8–10 feet between hills
Sun: Full sun
