For those who like their coffee the way they like their Kansas summers, bold, intense, and unapologetic. Prairie Blaze is our medium roast with a smoky depth and rich body that stands up to anything you throw at it.

The Story

Prairie Blaze was born on a late harvest night, the kind where you need coffee that hits hard and keeps you going. We wanted a medium roast with real depth, not bitterness. The result is a smoky, chocolatey roast with a caramel sweetness that sneaks up on you. Named for the controlled burns that regenerate the prairie grasslands, this roast is all about bringing something powerful out of the fire.

Brewing Tips

Prairie Blaze is built for French press and espresso. For French press, use 2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water and steep for 4-5 minutes. For cold brew, double the grounds, steep 12-18 hours in the fridge, and dilute to taste. This roast can handle milk and sugar without losing its character.
